I've been wondering why these dumbass' keep doing the suicide bomb thing, as the 19 virgins thing, doesn't sit well with the females offing themselves, as it is a philosophy for "straight people" who get their rewards.
What I found was that it is a redemption of one's soul.
To die by the sword, or in battle, one is forgiven for ALL their past sins.
Basically, these people are buying into the Valhalla concept to purge themself of the guilt, as it isn't viewed as a "suicide", rather it is dying on the field of "battle" for their faith.
I do think that Chopper goes over the edge, big time, but the his case does have it's merits:
"Radical Islamists" are a danger.
If you combine a person way off balance, an there are many in the world, with their beliefs, you get killing in the name of "faith" spread throughout.
The bad news is, that there are many innocent lives that could be lost, along with a long list of people that could justify their suicide, by dying for their "faith", with the promise of "redemption" by their act.
The good news is that less loons will be walking the earth.
Just to get it straight, though, I never did read those links Chopper.
I found some of these beliefs in a book from the early 1900's.
Which, also, if it weren't getting so much publicity(Thus, attracting the screwed up, like moths to light.), wouldn't make much of an impact.
Why would I say that?
That "religion" has been going on centuries. The killings had been mild, until....G.W.B. decided to invade.
As for 9-1-1...No one has forgotten. Many are just divided as to what really went down that day, as we have a government that has shown itself to be untrustworthy.
That isn't a conspiracy theory. It's a fact that our government has no problem lying to us. Not a new thing, just exemplified by the current government. Like a relationship..if you can't trust someone on the little things, how can you trust them on the big things(Like the reason for the war or the truth about 9-1-1)?
Before you, Chopper, go off on another rant....
If you want them gone so bad....join the military and do your part to fight them.
The blood, sweat and tears of Americans is what has given you the right to voice your free speech.

And their god leads them to believe they will dominate the earth with Islam - akin to xianities 'great commission.'
